A guest post by Howard Kessa of Floulex Web, who built this website.
My name is Howard Kessa. I build websites for churches, and I grew up as a pastor’s kid. When Bishop Berlin Lilite trusted me with the new website for Unity Pentecostal Church of God of Homestead, I read every answer he sent me and went through the church’s flyer line by line. Here is what I learned. If you are looking for a Pentecostal church in Homestead, Florida, I hope this helps you get to know Unity before you visit.

Adorer, Grandir, Servir: worship, grow and serve
Unity’s motto is three French words: Adorer, Grandir, Servir. In English, they mean worship, grow and serve. I built the home page around those three words, because they already say who this church is.
Worship. The church gathers for service on Sunday at 10:30 am and again at 7:30 pm. It has a worship team, and every Monday at 7:30 pm there is a Prayer Meeting called Piscine.
Grow. Sunday School starts at 9:30 am, and Bible Study is every Thursday at 7:30 pm. There is a class for kids and a youth ministry.
Serve. In the church’s own words, they are strong believers of evangelization in the street, to get more people accepting Jesus and get them baptized when they believe in Jesus Christ.
A Pentecostal church in Homestead since 2003
Unity has been established since 10 August 2003. It is a Pentecostal Church of God, and it says plainly: we believe in the Holy Spirit. Every last week of August, the church celebrates its Anniversary. A church’s beliefs belong in its own words, so you can read them just as the Bishop wrote them on the What we believe page.
Meet Bishop Berlin Lilite
Pastor Berlin Lilite is the Bishop of the church, and he is also a Chaplain in the US Army, proud to serve the soldiers in the USA. He lives in Homestead and once lived in Paris, France. He is married to Ms. Emmanuella Fenelon, and they have 4 kids, two boys and two girls.
Bishop Berlin has 4 bachelor degrees from Florida International University, in Psychology, Biological Sciences, Economy and International Relations, and a Master in Divinity with a concentration in Chaplaincy. You can read more on his page.

Ministries for the whole family
Unity’s women’s ministry is called Les Seraphins, and its yearly activities come every second week of February. The men’s ministry is called Frères Unis, with a week of Men’s Ministry every third week of May. There are also youth and kids ministries, the worship team, and the evangelization in the street. See them all on the Ministries page.

You can also get to know Unity before you visit. The Watch page has messages, praise and worship, and the Panorama Bible study series, book by book.
A year of prayer and fasting
Prayer runs through the whole calendar at Unity. Every last Monday there is a special prayer from 7:30 pm until midnight, and the last Tuesday of the month is for fasting. During Easter, the church has one week of spiritual activities.
The year ends with a prayer called “How do you decide to start your new year”, from the last Sunday of December until December 31st. On December 31, the last segment of prayer is at midnight, and then blessings are given to all families present. You can follow it all on The year at Unity.
Come as you are
A website can tell you when and where. What happens when you walk through the door belongs to the church. If you are looking for a church home in Homestead, I hope you will start with the Visit page, or send a message first.
Thank you to Bishop Berlin and the Unity family for trusting me with this work. To learn more about what I do for churches, visit Floulex Web.
